John, You can try using the DROP PROCEDURE method suggested by Mark. However, you should be able to delete the SP via Ops Navigator. I've done it numerous times. You should check with IBM to see if they can help determine why you can't. Sounds like a bug, security, or lock type of issue...... John Candidi <jacandidi@rutger sinsurance.com> To midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx 04/05/2005 01:10 cc PM Subject Deleting Stored Procedures Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@midra nge.com> I created two tables and a procedure on the iSeries through iSeries Navigator (v5r2). I wanted to delete the procedure and recreate it, but when I right clicked, the context menu didn't have a delete option. I tried logging in as the system administrator account as well as qsecofr incase it was a permissions issue, but I have no way of deleting the objects. It doesn't allow for any other database objects either, not just the newly created ones. -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
