Dave I agree on the interface work - much of those libraries are 390 stuff, too, but things got applied all over the place at IBM. I still have a booklet from a 1986 System/38 conference about the rationale for the interface design of that system that is still quite helpful. I love that library site - if I had 3 lives, I'd be digging all over it.
