You want to change the system date programmatically? You can do a CHGSYSVAL QDATE I suppose (System date. Changes made to this system value take effect immediately.) ...but...why do you want to do that? Do you just want to change the date that the CL program uses? I would be really careful about changing the system date. You could do a RTVSYSVAL SYSVAL(QDATE) RTNVAR(&MYDATE) and manipulate that date. > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Adding 1 to date > From: "Dwayne Allison" <Dwayne.Allison@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: Wed, March 02, 2005 10:37 am > To: "Midrange Systems Technical Discussion" <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > > Good Morning All, > > Can you add to system date in a cl, if so how? > > We capture the system date and than we would like to add a day or two to it. > > -- > This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list > To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l > or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
