Subject: RE: IFS NTFS cannot copy

No I try to copy it to a "normal" directory in the IFS.
I recognized followings:
copying from Win Server 2003 directory to AS/400 IFS directory -->
doesn't' work.
copying from Win Server 2003 directory to local client (C:\) and then to
AS/400 IFS directory --> doesn't' work.
If I open the word file with word, change a character in the document and
save it back to c:\
after that, I can copy it from the local client C:\ drive (directory) to
AS/400 IFS directory ! ! !

Are you copying to the QDLS folder in the IFS? That has the 8.3 naming
convention restriction.
