I too am concerned about the text vs binary. A simple DSPSAVF should look good on the remote system, and be a valid test. Never tried SAVLICPGM to a save file. I know that you shouldn't try to save multiple libraries to a save file, I wonder if using a save file for SAVLICPGM has similar issues.
