I've written code that just reads the mail in /QTCPTMM/MAIL/<user>/ and does stuff with the contents. This was a program that was parsing email for certain values - in other words, humans didn't read it. It would be easy to write something that read the mail and displayed it on a 5250 screen; however, all the other mail processing would be more problematic. > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Is there any email client that is available on the iSeries ? > From: "Krish Thirumalai" <krishnithya@xxxxxxxxx> > Date: Thu, February 10, 2005 11:11 am > To: "Midrange Systems Technical Discussion" <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > > We are trying to determine if there is an easy way to read mail that > is coming into an iSeries.
