Tell you what, how about getting VMWare and having 2 machines on the same box?

Everything works, I just need to get a second connection for the second box. When I did the install, it asked me for the com port. Will it now use Com2?

Get a switchbox for the serial cable (DB9) 2 in - 1 out ro 4 in - 1 out.
They're cheap. Then switch between the boxes. You can have only one alive at a time - switching will kill the connection.
