RE: rmtcmd not working on call to as400

Okay - the pc was upgraded to V5r2 which removed the client access dll
for the rmtcmd. It no longer exists in c:/windows it is now in
c:/winnt

Can I NOT specify a folder ie.
Shell("run rmtcmd call RMT025CR 'CRANE" & ct & "'", 2)

That is the direction I am taking now, so I will play with that,
because this app could go on several PC's and I would rather have a
command that will work for any pc not dependent on the CA version.

Thanks!!!

Angela,

I know you said it used to work, but are you sure there is a rmtcmd
executable in c:\Windows?

Perhaps it is an issue of the VB app not having a correct path to the
rmtcmd program, but when you type it on the command line you don't
specify c:\Windows and the program is located successfully via the path.
