Hi All -

I am attempting to use an Image Catalog to upgrade our 170 (test system)
from V5R2 to V5R3. After the Image Catalog IPL I see the LIC
decompression SRC's (C6xx41DC), then what appears to be an IPL (C1xx
xxxx SRC's), then the system hangs at C6004001 (Static Paging) with no
attention light. I never see the LIC install SRC's (C6xx41CC).

I have applied the Image Catalog support PTF (SI10563), allocated the
additional space for the new LIC and accepted all of the software
agreements.

SupportLine told me to remove QHLPSYS from the system library list, but
I did that and the same thing happened again. Today they have me
applying HIPER PTF's for Virtual Media support, but other than that we
are fairly current on PTF's.

We are at C04244520 and the following group levels:

PTF Group Level Text
SF99519 112 GROUP HIPER
SF99502 16 DB2 UDB FOR ISERIES
SF99271 19 WebSphere App Server - Express V5.0
SF99172 3 IBM Business Solutions
SF99169 18 JAVA PTF GROUP
SF99098 16 IBM HTTP SERVER FOR ISERIES
SF99085 14 520 BACKUP RECOVERY SOLUTIONS

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
