We had the same problem with Keyboards attached to ThinClients.
The manufacturer of the ThinClients (Igel) solved the problem with
a new firmware they modified for us (they were great, after they
recognized the problem).
Problem was with CAExpress V5R2 and V5R3 as well - we tried all recent
service
packs at that time (december 2004).
Together with a guy from IBM we found out, that somehow the type of keyboard
was not reported correctly AND/OR ClientAccess was not programmed to
recognize
any non-standard type (or numbers from "GetKeyboardType-API") here.
You could eventually hope for a fix from IBM.
All other programs we had in our scenario were more tolerant to this
"anomaly".

AFAIK, the only difference is that the keyboards are USB. Has anyone else
experienced this? I can't find anything on IBM's website.
