I use this technique all the time. Especially to send IBM or our BP spool
files.

RE: Download question?

I usually use Ops Nav to just drag the spool file directly to my
desktop. (If you can't use Ops Nav on the old system & need to get the
spool file to the new system, use a remote outq on the old system to
point to the new.)

Subject: Download question?

I need some help with CAE file download

I did a rack print through STRSST on a 720 V4R5 Then did a CPYSPLF to a
database file Then did an FTP from old system to the new one Then I did
a copy through ISeries access for windows using the down load button of
the tool bar, output file being a .TXT file I open the file to a
hexadecimal file

What did I do wrong?

Thanks in advance
