What format are SAP reports on the iSeries -- MIDRANGE-L

I accidentally posted this as a reply to another post, so I am re-posting as
an original

 

Can someone tell me what type of spooled files SAP outputs on the iSeries?
(ie SCS, USERASCII with PCL or USERASCII with Postscript, AFPDS etc.)

 

Is the Output Type user definable such as some type of software setting
within SAP?
