Ryan,
I'm on the board of the OMNI user group here in Chicago. We were talking
about the ad last week. The consensus was that the ad is nice, and that it
fit well with the flavor of IBM's recent campaigns, but that it would have
been better if the iSeries would have been the machine featured in the ad
where a room full of equipment became the single machine in the corner.
That ad had much more visual impact related to server consolidation. I
could go on about my personal preferences regarding the advertising
campaign, but those were the feelings of our board.

Subject: iSeries Television Ad
Hey all. I write the ENDPGM articles for eServer Magazine, and for the
April issue I'm looking into the iSeries television ad campaign that has
been running recently, most notably during the Jets/Steelers playoff game.
I'm wondering if any of you have seen the ad, and what some of you think
of
the one ad specifically, but also about iSeries television ads in general
(finally!). If I could speak to a couple of you, or just via e-mail
correspondence, that would be great.
