I added the first line #!/usr/bin/sh I copied it around to change the CCSID to 819. Changed the first line back after the CCSID changed the ! to a ]. Did a QSH followed by chmod a+x /Operations/StartTSM.sh Once again the call qp2shell '/Operations/StartTSM.sh' ended with CPDB9C7-OS/400 PASE program or shell script not executable. And you may need a line at the start of your script to tell the shell it's a script. Try inserting this at the top: #!/usr/bin/sh Also make sure the file is in the right character encoding for PASE to read it, ASCII, like CCSID 819. -Marty -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
