Additional domain controllers in EIM -- MIDRANGE-L

Hi,
Is there anybody out there who have set up EIM with both a Domain Controller 
and secondary/replicated controllers for the EIM data? I've been looking around 
for info. but only seen recommendations that it should be considered if 
possible.
 
Any info is welcome!
