From one of those locked items--

"This is completely normal for a job ended with ENDJOBABN . The job is truly ended and the joblog will be spooled out at the next IPL. Even though the status indicates Joblog Pending, the job is no longer active and is not taking any processing resources from the system."

I saw elsewhere that you should be able still to use DSPJOBLOG to see it.

Thank you Rob...........

I will ask our IT staff to schedule an IPL for this weekend or next.

IPL. Someone did a ENDJOBABN. It will stay that way until the IPL. It
shouldn't have any locks or anything at this stage. You could schedule
your IPL for later.
If you planned on applying ptf's at this IPL, you better IPL twice.
Only
MF* ptf's will be applied because system value QABNORMSW will be set
during the IPL to abnormal. See also the help for WRKSYSVAL QABNORMSW.

How to end a job stuck in JOBLOG PENDING

Can anyone please help me with how to get a job to end that is stuck in JOBLOG PENDING? I have searched the IBM website and I have to have a key (login) to be able to read the document about this.

TIA
