Hello, >So, means that the solution works ?? actually, its getting more and more complicated. Czech orders are uploaded to our Internet order entry application as Excel CSV files and then get transferred to an Oracle database used by that application. The Internet application runs on some kind of Unix system with Oracle database. Later on, the orders are FTP'ed to our EDI network and then finally reach our site. The special characters already get screwed up when exported from Excel to the CSV file. And then somehow between the Oracle database and the EDI application (running on AS400). So, the guys working on that Internet application are currently trying to resolve the issue on their side. And then we shall see what happens to the special chars when they get to our EDI system. That's real fun stuff, and the deadline actually was January 1, 2005... Regards, Oliver
