Subject: Re: Printing Polnish characters

Hello again,

Hi,
Not in prtf but in the device description. Parameter : CHRID

I see you have a polish e-mail address, so I guess I'm talking to a knowledgable person on these issues.

Do you have the ASCII/Hex values of the polish characters?

I have the following two strings for comparison. The first one was
sent through our EDI system, the other by our Polish partner with Excel
and then copy/pasted to a text file:

Lenka K¤ëov¤:O¬n optik-optometrista
Lenka Kánová Ocní optik-optometrista

The seconed one seems to be okay, the hex code for the a after the K is
E1.
The hex code on the first a is A4.

Would the second string be okay to send to AS400 and print?

Regards,

Oliver
