I think I should mention that the new configuration is working because when I
use ibm's STRITF command, it seems to be able to communicate with the terminal
just find. However, in my application, I'm receiving the same data that I sent
to terminal. I'm thinking that STRITF can handle echoing. My app is not
written to handle it. But my question is that what is causing the echoing?

Note: What we try to do is get rid of the remote router without any
programming change.  Below are diagrams

Typical setting:
  -----    x.25 over v.35      ------------      Convert x.25 to ip
-------------  Covert back to x.25   ---------
 |AS400|--------------------> |Cisco Router| ------------------------->| Cisco
Router|--------------------->| Terminal|
  -----                        ------------
-------------                        ---------

Want to do this (because this new terminal support ip connection):
  -----    x.25 overv.35       ------------      Convert x.25 to ip
---------
 |AS400|--------------------> |Cisco Router| ------------------------->|
Terminal|
  -----                        ------------
---------

is above possible without changing application?
