Jeff,

Maybe it's like this example.  You buy a new ERP system.  The planner 
wants you to make extensive mods to it to make it work like he is used to 
versus adapting his techniques to use the package.

Can one of you explain how these media pools work so well?  Or am I 
resigned
to doing it the way I see it now and in 6 months I will want to change
everything? <g>
