Well, yes and no. A Windows desktop certainly can't affect my iSeries (yes, it can "infect" files in the IFS, but that infection is only contagious to other immune-deficient Windows systems). But I was under the impression that there are plenty of Windows worms which, once they've attacked the desktop, can migrate themselves to any Windows machines on the network (including servers), thereby spreading contagion throughout the Windows community. That's why I liken Windows to HIV for your network: you won't necessarily get AIDS from it, but you sure are susceptible. Joe
