I am by no means a "network guy" however I do have a 9402-200 at home, a
Linksys router, and a PC functioning as a FTP server.  If I remember
correctly you should check in the manual for your Linksys router on port
forwarding.  In my case FTP requests to the cable modem's IP address get
automatically forwarded to the IP address of the FTP PC.  You will have to
open a port on the router and they will probably have to specify a port
when connecting to you.  Good luck.

If you would not mind, do you think you can help me setup my AS400 to work
with my Linksys router and cable modem? I have done this in the past with
someone's help, but unfortunately I did not get a chance to take notes!
I need to set it up with my router and cable modem so that I can have my
friends access the AS400 remotely from their homes.
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much for
all your help!
