We have been able to recreate the error situation and will be putting out a fix for it. Note that this error appears to only be a warning -- the time was adjusted (at least on our test system) based on the first received timestamp. It also appears that this error is only seen when using the GUI to configure SNTP on Windows. Using a non-GUI interface on XP (net time /setsntp:YOURTIMESERVER.COM) worked without a warning being issued.
