Backup blew up during the ifs save. No MSGW - just plain hung. What normally takes 15 minutes was still hung 8 hours later. Tried an ENDJOB. About 18 minutes later - no change. Did an ENDJOBABN. Job no longer appears in WRKACTJOB. Doing a WRKJOB BACKUP shows that it is in a JOBLOG PENDING - normal for an ENDJOBABN. Problem is that all these ifs objects are still locked by this job. Use of iSeries Navigator reports that the save is in use and has it blocked. Opened up a sev 1 pmr.
