You best bet is to go to InfoCenter under Database and find the manual for this - there is one there. Text searches are possible. Haven't done it myself, have just taken a brief look at the manual.

Hi all,

I've only recently come across UDB DB2 text extenders for the iseries. I was
wondering if document searching is possible through this on V5R1? If yes,
how do I create and use indexes to search documents (in the IFS for eg.)

Vikas.
