UPS just delivered a motorized wheelchair for a friend - 375 pounds Also try the freight companies...Yellow, etc. I've shipped a Harley that way before. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of daparnin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, October 18, 2004 2:50 PM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: AS/400 Shipping Suggestions Can anybody recommend a good, inexpensive (i.e. cheap) method to ship an AS/400 half-way across the country? It's a 9404-200 so it's not huge but still it's probably too big and heavy for UPS. It's an old system so it's not worth a lot but we would still like it in the same general shape when it arrives as when it left. There's no hurry so if it can save some money it's OK if it takes awhile to make the trip. It should probably go on a pallet but I don't believe that we have one at the origin so we'll need to find one. Other packing suggestions are also welcome. Thanks.
