V5R3 SDLC switched line with SWTDSC(*YES) -- MIDRANGE-L

Has anyone noticed a problem on V5R3 where an SDLC switched dial-up line, 
with SWTDSC(*YES) specified in the APPC controller, will NOT disconnect 
when the last session on the line ends (ENDPASTHR) ?   This can lead to a 
VERY hefty phone bill when it isn't noticed for a day or two.
