Create a logical file listing all of the fields in PF or just desired fields
plus one more field. That one more field uses keyword TRNTBL(QSYSTRNTBL)
That field can be used as needed in an index and the regular mixed case
field is also available. Here is a partial example of fields in the logical
file. I usually put the NAMEUC field as the last field in the logical, so
that the first set of fields match the physical.

A NAME
A NAMEUC I RENAME(NAME)
A TRNTBL(QSYSTRNTBL)

Subject: logical fie with one field in upper case

I have a physical file where one of the fields is a surname in mixed case.
I want to create a logical view where this field is also available in the
logical file in upper case. Is there a keyword that I can use to do this
for me.

Thanks
