If you are staying anywhere near downtown you don't want a rental car. 
It'll cost a fortune to park.  If you're going anywhere in the city a Day 
Pass for the TTC is what you want (although you may not want to haul 
luggage to and from the airport on the bus/subway - it is possible - 
Single fare on the TTC is $2.25).  Yes, the Airport Express bus is 
probably the best way to/from downtown.

I will  either  take a  taxi or the bus. I usually  have  no need for a 
rental car at COMMON conferences, except for locations.   I  favor the 
buss 
idea  if they  limit the number of stops in   the trip to/from Pearson and 

Hotel



You can get  around Toronto  fairly  easily  by  public transportation.
