It looks like the parity is spread 50/50 across drives 54 and 55, so drive
53 has to do more work. I'm curious what would happen if you switched from
parity spread across multiple drives, to parity spread across just one
drive. I'm not even sure if this is a choice when you set up parity on the
iSeries.
