I wrote the tn5250 HOWTO available at:

I wrote some parts of tn5250, mainly the PDF support. But by far most of tn5250 was written by others. The man pages (unix online help) for tn5250 were not written by me.

I did write x5250 which is a new front end to tn5250. It isn't quite production-ready yet. However, if you want to check it out it is at:
