If you go with the Domino solution it sounds like what you are looking for 
is a Domino equivalent for iSeries Access RUNRMTCMD or STRPCO & STRPCCMD. 
Right?

In addition to the previous comments, as I am reviewing various products, 
I
see a reference to using Lotus Domino to store scanned documents.  Is it a
big leap to use Domino to retrieve those images from a green-screen 
request?
We have installed Domino, but are still in the process of implementing it
for email (when we eventually move it in-house).
