All,

I am attempting to connect one 400 to another and run SQL commands. I am
running into a problem on the connect. Here are the details:

On the source 400, I added an entry in the RDB table (ADDRDBDIRE) indicating
the name of the connection, the IP address, and the connection type of *IP.

On the destination 400, I started the TCP server *EDRSQL

On the source 400, I try to connect to the remote 400 using the command (in
STRSQL) CONNECT TO (target 400) USER (username) USING (password)

I get the error indicating that "The security mechanism requested by the
client is not supported or allowed by server."

Does anyone have any ideas? Is there something I am missing in the setup?

Thanks

Mike
