Our present UPS for our 820 (an old honking DELTEC 10kVA unit) needs to be
replaced by something that can be used for a future upgrade to a 520. Our
network guy always buys APC and is steering me in that direction but it
seems as if POWERWARE works much more closely with IBM. POWERWARE has
specific models for iSeries units with IBM part numbers and the POWERWARE
website has a iSeries configurator.

Anybody prefer APC over POWERWARE? If so, why?

Thanks,
