 We use the command CVTPFXLS to convert AS400 file to Excel format then e-mail 
to the user.

CVTPFXLS     FROMFILE(FINNB/BIBYMTH713) +            
             TOSTMF('/QDLS/CHACKOA/BIBY713.XLS') +   
             FLDHDR(*TEXT)                           
                                                  
SNDDST     TYPE(*DOC) +                                   
             TOINTNET((john.doe@xxxxxxxx)) +          
             DSTD('sent excel doc from 400') MSG('send +  
             xls file to email from 400 that was +        
             converted from a physical file') +           
             DOC(BIBY713.XLS) FLR(CHACKOA)

negative number they are converted to positive numbers.  Anyone had this
