These are job separators that are inserted to keep print output separate for each job using the printer. It is specified when the output queue is created or changed. Use the CHGOUTQ myoutq JOBSEP(0) to trun it off. You'll need to end the writer with the ENDWTR myoutq first, and restart it after making the change. You can also specify on the printer file that file separators are to be inserted.

Hi, I am new to this technology and I have a peculiar problem. When ever i print a spool file, the first page is always a page that has the following information:
*.Job Name...: <Job Name>
*.User Name.: BJASON (my user profile)
*.Job Number: <Number>
*.Date..........: <date>
*.Time..........: <time>
BOTWINICK, JASON ( this is the text in my user profile)
Why is this information printed for all my printouts? How can i turn off this property?
Would appreciate if anyone can help me with this.
