Speaking of missing things - I haven't had a chance to update the IAAI site yet, but I've got about a dozen Java and JDBC tests ready to go. It's just getting a little crazy in The Life of Joe, because we're closing on the new house the end of this month. But the results are pretty much what you would expect. Java is slower than RPG, and JDBC is the slowest of all. I think a whole set of SQL tests are in order, but remember that SQL tends to be VERY dependent upon the data in the file, so your mileage will definitely vary. I'm going to try JDBC vs. RLA in another set of tests, but most Java programmers seem to have a problems with RLA.
