<snip> Does anyone know when we load iSeries Access on her computer, and when she accesses our iSeries, what issues we can expect? What solutions will we need? Any advice would be appreciated. (It is our understanding that she is fluent in English) </snip> Jim, Assuming you are running the default single byte English (2924) you will have to upgrade that to the double byte English, and then add the Chinese language to the machine. Next you will need to set up a subsystem that runs with the Chinese language library as the subsystem library. ( a feature that is rarely used but extremely cool is you think it through ) Figure about 1/2 hour each to load the language objects, a couple of IPLs and an hour or two for the subsystem work. We have one customer running several languages on their machine due to the global nature of the application they run. Works fine. Jim Oberholtzer Senior Solutions Architect Computech Resources, Inc.
