Because I have a PC laptop that has been giving me trouble (1 yr old). The ibook offers 5 hours of battery life where this dell offers 2.5. The ibook is lighter (4.5 pounds where my dell is 7.7 pounds). I do a lot of graphic art and web design which works well on Macs. I just feel as though I will have a better experience with a Mac. The only other option I would have is going from windows to linux on a pc but then battery power is still an issue as well as connectivity to our firewall (OSX or Windows client software only). OSX is also based on unix so my programming tasks will be better tested when I cant connect to my servers.

Subject: Moving to Mac

I am moving over to a Mac platform for my laptop and I need a Client Access
replacement. It must allow me to work with files as navigator does, as well
as the terminal. If anyone knows or could recomend some software please let
me know.

Thanks,
Jeffrey Lee
