Ask and ye shall receive ... sort of. There is no API that performs 
this specific translation but the message description CPX7064 contains 
the translated text for the entry codes and CPX7065, CPX7066, CPX7067, 
CPX7069, CPX707A, CPX707B, CPX7071, CPX7072, CPX7073, CPX7074, CPX7075, 
CPX7076, CPX7077, CPX7078, CPX7079, CPX7080, CPX7081, CPX7082, CPX7083, 
CPX7084, CPX7085, CPX7086, CPX7087, CPX7088, CPX7089 and CPX8353 
contain the translated text for the entry types.

You could easily create such an API using this information.
