does anyone know if QZLC_SERVERLIST is case sensitive? we have that envvar on our system, but it's in lowercase - qzlc_serverlist ...in fact, I just added QZLC_SERVERLIST and it didn't replace the original, so my guess is that yes, it is case sensitive. Rick --------original message----------- Setting up environment variable (wrkenvvar) QZLC_SERVERLIST to value '1' will help speed this up. Document Title Setting Environment Variable - QZLC_SERVERLIST Document Description In R450 and R510, PTFs were created to address certain performance issues when accessing QNTC using the WRKLNK command or Operations Navigator. The PTFs are SI02910 (R510) and SF66922 (R450). These PTFs allow for setting an environment variable via the WRKENVVAR command on the OS/400 that tells QNTC not to test for compatible dialects of SMB. When accessing QNTC under some conditions, this makes the list longer but improves the performance. When the variable is set to 0 or not set at all, QNTC functions as it did before the PTFs was installed . When the variable is set to 1, the behavior is changed to enhance the performance.
