Your DDS is close. Drop the 'S'ection indicator on the 2nd field. The way it currently reads is select records where PMKREI = ' ' or PMKINF = 'Y' if you drop the selection flag on the 2nd field it would then select records where PKKREI = ' ' and PMKINF = 'Y' -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dwayne Allison Sent: Wednesday, August 25, 2004 9:14 AM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Logical with two selects How do you set up a logical file to select only records with two different values? Example: I have a file that I want to select the PMKREI that equal *blanks and PMKINF fields that equal 'Y'. I have it set with the two select now and it pull all the records with PMKREI the equal blank and the PMKINF equal blank. It also pull records that have PMKINF = 'Y' and PMKREI = 'I'.
