I know this is late, but haven't had a lot of time here lately. An alternative is to execute the SNDDST in a separate usrprf(*OWNER) program that has sufficient authority to call the QSYGETPH and QWTSETP APIs to swap to a generic profile. The SNDDST will run under the new *CURRENT user, then the swap can be reversed before returning to the calling program. The generic profile would be the only one needing an SMTP address in the system directory. The address might be CONFIRMORDERS@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or SUPPORT@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or whatever is needed for a given generic procedure. Of course, this doesn't mean individual users shouldn't have SMTP addresses, but this technique can reduce maintenance. Tom Liotta midrange-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: > 1.
