In addition to the US Postal Service's WebTools already mentioned, the US 
Postal Service also will take a list of addresses you provide and validate 
them, including putting on the correct zip codes and fixing spelling 
mistakes.  The cost is minimal and there is no restriction on the use of 
the fixed addresses.  We just did this for several of our customers 
because of the new Streamlined Sales Tax law adopted (and then postoned) 
by the state of Utah.  Unfortunately, the law doesn't seem so streamlined 
and looks more like a money grab :(
