The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

This doesn't exactly answer your question. but......
If it's only a few fields from the File you're joining to, you might try
testing them with the IFNULL function and supply a default value of blank or
zeroes. Something like IFNULL(AlphaFld, ' ' ) or IFNULL(DecFld, 0).
