The Novell support uses Q1. Maybe it would be worth trying that value. You could also try a *LAN 3812 model 1 device description using port 9100 and the *IBMSNMPDRV System Driver Program. You need to make sure the NIC configuration sheet shows SNMP enabled before trying this option though.
