Well, they accepted my clarification, and said they'd be getting back to
me with the system password as soon as those who are in charge of actually
generating system passwords get back to them.

I can sympathize: a few years ago, I had to dig up the generator for an
authorization code schema that had been obsolete since before I was hired!
