Client Access task not ending -- MIDRANGE-L

I have workstation at a remote site that users are reporting that Client 
Access does not end.   When they finish and click the close button, the 
task doesn't end and they then need to close it through the task manager. 

Has anyone had any experience with this?  Suggestions? 

Her computer is running Client access 5 release 2 modification level 0 
Service Level Sl04484
with Windows XP pro SP1
