That sounds like the sample products I pasted to Reeve yesterday on this
list.  My AC3 is *INSTALLED and it's V5R3.  While my OS is *COMPATIBLE and
it's also V5R3.

One of my Customers got the same problem yesterday, but they are on V5R2
As with your example, the AC3 is *INSTALLED, rather than *COMPATIBLE

No resolution yet.

Brad,

I hit this one yesterday on our new i5.  The old 720 upgraded to V5R3M0
with
no problems to DCM.

I was going to call IBM this AM but I have been busy reading the
list.  I'll
be dialing shortly and let you know what I come up with.

I'm working with a client on setting up SSL for their web
servers.  But the DCM won't let me in.  I keep getting the
error:

"You must install one of the cryptographic access provider
products on your system before using the Digital
Certificate Manager (DCM) functions. Contact your system
administrator."

I have the required options installed:

5722SS1   *COMPATIBLE  OS/400 - Digital Certificate Manager

5722AC3   *INSTALLED   Crypto Access Provider 128-bit for
AS/400

Is there something else that may be missing?

Brad
