JDBC works very nicely in this arena and is, of course, free if you know
Java. I think there are iSeries based applications that do this (IBM may
even have something) but I don't recall where I have seen them
(DataJoiner?). If there are ODBC "drivers", IBM or a third party would have
had to written them and I am not sure how much demand there would be.

I don't know of any ODBC drivers for the iSeries as a client though.

Subject: Fw: ODBC client side drivers for the iSeries

Has anyone run across a client side ODBC driver for the iSeries that allow
the AS400 to act as a client to a server running Oracle, DB2 or Sybase?
